Many activities take place at lunchtime to enrich the curriculum for children. An excellent cooked lunch is available with a wide variety of menus to choose from. A packed lunch, "Grab a Bag" provides an alternative to the cooked meal. We have embraced the Healthy Schools agenda and are keen to encourage children to eat healthily. Alban achieved Healthy Schools status for the second time in June 2007

School meals can be paid for daily, weekly, monthly, half–termly or termly.

Glass containers and canned drinks should not be brought to school and lunch boxes and containers should be clearly named.

Children are encouraged to drink water throughout the day. A chilled water dispenser has been provided for this purpose. Water bottles should be clear plastic with a nozzle top to avoid spillage.
